BMX Training (lifting and Racing)

Had a solid day of training on Fri to prep me for the weekend to come.

Clean Grip deads (Explosive):
135×3
185×3
185×3
205×3
205×3

These felt real explosive and were supersetted with hurdle jumps with 30″ hurdles

2A) Db pushpress
60×6x3

2B) Dead hang pullups (2 sec hold)
5×3

Ab wheel:
3 sets of 10

Prowler:
40yd x 4 90lbs

Then on Sat I found out about a last minute race being held in Orlando, so I jetted over there for the night to win some cash.

Race went real well lots of competition. We ran three 8 man races and they averaged the scores to determine the winner this seemed good at the time and I was psyched to ride.

1st moto:
I came out of the second turn locked elbows with a guy and we both ended up layin in the dirt. 7th place not good.

2nd Moto:
Had a solid start, but got blocked real bad out of turn one, which left me in 3rd. Then with some good defensive riding being done to me I ended up getting passed down the last straight for a 5th place. Still points average is suckin.

3rd Moto:
Had a decent start and wasnt able to pass anybody due to some good riding by my competition ended up 4th.

So with a terribly high average points I managed a 6th place finish overall. Good practice and a really fun race.
After the race I met up with my boy Billy P, and roommate Chris and we headed for a night on the town.

We headed out to the Bar B Que bar in downtown Orlando and I proceeded to have way to many Cider Beers and talk to as many girls as possible. Night ended with 2 slices of pizza and me hugging some dude passed out on the street.

Sunday:

We headed over to Barachel bike and skate shop to session there newly built sk8 park. Had A real good session with my boy Crouch, Highlights included me airing out a spine to going over the bars harming my private area.
Other than the fall got some good pics I hope to obtain soon, and scored some cool product thanks to Billy P.
